The museum was established in 2003. It serves as a permanent home for the artist Gideon Fridman and for other glass artists from Arad and from all around Israel At the museum: main exhibition hall;shop – gallery; workshops and courses room for 40 people; screening room for 50 people;the artist’s workshop;access and toilette for the handicapped Gideon Fridman works with recycled glass (glass bottles, window glass), with which he creates a trialogue between the glass, the artist and the observer. He uses fusing and slamping methods for his art. Developed unique techniques for using these methods. Gideon uses for sculpturing ovens that he built himself and adapted for his needs, and a flame thrower. His creations are famous in Israel and all around the world.
