"TOLERANCE 2002" FESTIVAL
The Third International Children's Festival
September 2002

During the week of Sukkot (September) 2002, the ICU (International Cultural Union) (R.A.), held its Third International Children's Festival "Tolerance 2002". The festival dealt with values such as tolerance and coexistence. The festival was held in Haifa, Daliat El Carmel and in Acco with participants from fifteen countries including: Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Russia, Finland, Latvia, USA, Thailand, New Zealand, Romania, Ukraine, Holland, Australia, Ireland and Israel. The Israeli participants were students from Jewish, Christian, Moslem and Druze Schools. Artistic artworks from children in special education (autistic and retarded children) were featured.

The festivals' events were advertised in national and local newspapers, on billboards, on television, on radio, in the Internet and on artistic posters.
