Everything is moving in cycles on earth and around us in universe. There are rules indicating the overall meaning of the universe: the stars move in their orbits. There is a cycle and there are rules making the moon go around earth, in the movement of the earth around its axis, in the tide and the ebb in the rivers streaming towards the sea. This cycle and these rules apply to Man too, being a part of the universe.

Substance was not created out of nothing, and it does not disappear. All changes, novelties in their essence, are an outcome of genesis . the creation of the world and its rules, the creation of the living and the vegetative, the creation of the storm, lightning and thunder and the miracle of conceiving life in the womb…

In his book "The Origin Of Species" Darwin opposes the biblical notion of a separate creation of each form of life, as we know it today. Darwin refers to one, or a few primary forms, from which all kinds of living creatures evolved.

In this Exhibition, a group of artists coming from different schools of art have joined together to create a multi-aspect artistic event. The unifying subject is the notion of Genesis as a primary concept.

Each artist gives a personal, unique interpretation to the idea. Hence the variety and richness of expression in substance, color and conception.
